about

RARE TRACK "FIGHT TOGETHER" FOUND IN DIGITAL FORMAT. EXCLUSIVELY ON CASSETTE COMPILATION UNTIL NOW.

*** This is it. This is the last and final material we will ever hear from Decay A.D.

"Fight Together" appears as the opening track, side A, on the Chicago punk cassette compilation: "Segregation Anxiety", one of the early releases by Dez, from Cemetery & Occult Whispers Records. This was a very limited compilation and the number of tapes pressed is unknown.

This song, "Fight Together", was originally recorded for a Chicago anti-racist compilation that never ended up happening. After the song sat stagnant for a while, mixed and all, Dez, from Occult Whispers Records (CHI) approached us to see if we were interested in contributing a track for a Chicago compilation titled "Segregation Anxiety". We confirmed.
.
The compilation consisted of bands like Decay A.D., Krang, Cemetery, Population, Die Time, Slag, and other acts. The comp was a solid mix of punk in many forms like raw, post, crust, hardcore, and more in efforts to bring the many different Chicago factions of punk together in solidarity. Even though "Fight Together" was intended for an anti-racist comp, it still worked out great for the "Segregation Anxiety" compilation... which was aiming to unite as well.

This song is very rare and very few have even heard it. I was quite surprised when I came across the master copy a few weeks back. It was extremely limited to the "Segregation Anxiety" compilation, which was very very limited in itself. It was only pressed on cassette as a single for the comp... until now. Enjoy.

This is the very end of the road for Decay After Death. There isn't anymore unreleased material floating around or anything like that. This song was recorded in 2012 and released on "Segregation Anxiety" officially in 2013.

Just like our unearthed "Post Mortem Anthems" full length, we bring you "Fight Together" for free download and streaming. Thanks for the support over the years at the gigs and on the road midwest & east coast. This is free for the punx. Download at will. Bootleg at will. Spread word.
